We are a small pattern company that loves the idea of blending the quilting traditions of yesteryear with the imaginative ideas of today. It is our hope that you and your quilting customers will fall in love with the quilts our designers have created for the quilting world.

Our primary goal is to translate our designers’ wonderful quilts into high-quality patterns. We pride ourselves in publishing patterns that provide excellent, sequential instructions, clear illustrations, and special color references. We believe our patterns are exceptional in quality and value.

    I am glad you like the blog. Thanks to SAQA for letting your members know. I really appreciate the support. I will not be going to the Long Beach show, but will be at Quilt Market in Houston in October. I enjoy the SAQA exhibits each year there. It is such fun to see the diversity of techniques and subject matter by the members. Keep up the great work.

    Joen,
    I cannot find the brilliant blue – looked at Liquitex website and don’t see it listed, Michaels did not carry a brillian blue, will try Dick Blick. Used the primary blue and did not get good results.

    Love the idea of making my own color wheel, but need better results.

    Hi Suzi,

    Thanks for alerting me to your dilemma. Liquitex has several different types of paints and Brilliant Blue is not in all categories of paint. So, if you’re looking in one category, you may not see it. Brilliant blue is in their professional paints category under “heavy body.” I have just added a new post with all of the information. Included are the URLs for info about the heavy body paints and their color chart. I’ve also listed the numbers for all of the colors. I’ve purchased from Dick Blick often and had no problem. Anyway, I hope the additional information helps. Happy painting. Let me know if you have further problems. (I also added a store finder URL from their website.)
